About my collections

In MOSCOW now

love our Russian old films. In my opinion it is natural to love native. From foreign novelties it is pleasant to me "P.S.I love you" and "Knowing", i like some Pixar cartoons ("Birds", "Wally", "Up"). In general I love cinema which touches soul and tells about that clearly and close each person.
I don't like action and silly American youth comedies. I don't like watch TV because hate advertising.
My music - Latin rhythms in any language and with any text. Especially a samba and a rumba. Also Viennese waltz - it's magic sounds. And i like dream to the sound of Secret Garden. But songs which invariably excite me - "Where and when" Bryan Ferry, "Killing me softly" Frank Sinatra.
I have many DVD. All of time them fall out from everywhere.I love disks with humor serials because they do not come to an end long. When I am engaged in needlework I include them. I like to sew and embroider listening to serials because not necessary to distract and change disks. My favourite serials - Daddy's daughters - new russian serials;

Hi Tanny! D.G. Maloney here. What a wonderful effort you have put into your page. It looks beautiful.

I must say I am also very flattered by the attention you have given me on this site. It is most overwhelming! But I very much appreciate it and look forward to making more films for you to enjoy.

In answer to your question my favourite Russian films are Russian Ark and Sergei Bondarchuk's War and Peace. The most extraordinary acting ever to be preservd on film.

As for my other favfourites there is simply bot enough space to list them all but I have a very soft spot for ALL of Buster Keaton's films. If you have a chance watch as many as you can. Especially The General.

I hope you keep up your dancing Tanny and your wonderfully spirited outlook on life, and I also hope you keep going to the movies!
